My last blog post was about Women At Risk International        (WAR Int'l) and a party that I attended and covered. The War Chest Boutique sells items made by women within this wonderful organization and my dear friend Jessika hosted one of these parties. At this particular one was a raffle where someone could win a mini session from Lindsay Slaughter Photography (incase you stumbled upon this by accident...that is me). Which brings you to this blog post. The most adorable post to date.

Meet Lucie. She is a sparkling ray of sunshine who had this whole session under control from start to finish. She had a sweet disposition and didn't seem shy at all. She whispered directors' notes in my ear as we changed location and she made her Marine laugh hard enough to bring out his dimples.

Her mom Lindsay explained that she isn't usually into princess things, so when she fell in love with Belle it was a special love. One that you make memories with. You take the time to take photos of. Childhood is just a moment in time. It doesn't have to be perfect but it has to be hers. This Marine is hers. Her momma who put this together is hers. This princess was clearly hers. Her brother was hers, helping her carry her chair and telling her she was beautiful and now these memories are hers of her princess tea party with her special Marine!
